ModernGrannyFlat is a group of designers and architects helping homeowners create modern, eco, and flexible ADUs in San Diego County. We are currently seeking a freelance construction expert to collaborate with us on our ADU site visits for the next 6-8 months. With several projects moving into construction soon, we anticipate needing support with four ADUs during this time frame. RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend construction coordination meetings as MGF project representative (one meeting every two weeks per ADU).
Perform on-site observations related to the quantity and quality of the contractor's performance.
Monitor construction changes, prepare and share minutes for all construction progress meetings.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years of construction administration experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications required.
Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on ADU projects.
Be a technical resource for ADU projects.
DETAILS
Hours: 6-8 hours /week (hours may vary depending on when the meetings are scheduled)
Pay: hourly rate based on the candidate’s experience
