LA JOLLA ADU

The La Jolla ADU is an extension of the main residence for use as a rental. The owners didn’t want to lose too much of their yard and the views off the back of the property are incredible, so the solution was an ADU with two-story, maximizing both, space in the first floor and views in the second.

To flow with the design of the main home the ADU has the same roof material, standing seam, but vertical, which adds a clean and modern look to the property.

A unique feature is a small patio in the downstairs bathroom that utilizes space under the stairs of the main home, introducing natural light, plants and creates cross-ventilation.
